Welcome to Football History (footballhistory.com.ng). By using this website, you agree to the terms of this Disclaimer. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
General information only
The articles on this website are written for general information, education and entertainment about the history of football. We work to make them accurate and well researched, but they are not professional advice of any kind.
Accuracy of content
We check dates, scores, statistics and other facts against reliable sources, and we correct mistakes when we find them. However, football history is recorded in different ways in different places, and details such as appearance numbers, transfer fees and match minutes can vary between sources. We make no guarantee that every detail is complete, current or free from error. If you plan to quote a figure, please verify it against more than one source. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through our Contact page and we will review it.
Opinions and analysis
Where an article gives an opinion, a comparison or an assessment, such as who was the better player or why a team succeeded, it is the view of the author and is offered as part of the discussion of football history. It is not a statement of fact, and reasonable people may disagree.
No affiliation
Football History is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any football club, national team, league, tournament organiser, governing body (such as FIFA, CAF or UEFA), player, manager or agent mentioned on the site. Names, club badges, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are mentioned only for identification, commentary and education.
No betting or gambling advice
Nothing on this website is betting, gambling or financial advice, and we do not encourage gambling. Historical results and statistics should not be treated as predictions of future matches.

We aim to use only original content and images that we have permission or a licence to use, and we credit sources where required. If you believe that any material on this site infringes your copyright, please contact us with the link to the page and details of the material, and we will review it promptly and remove or credit it where appropriate.
